ELAN GT5 a revolutionary sailboat
Launched in 2017 to critical acclaim, the Elan GT5 was a revolutionary concept, introduced to the world of sailing. Designed as a grand tourer, a term borrowed from the automotive industry, the yacht exists on the crossover point between a luxury cruising yacht, and a performance cruiser.
The GT5 has a performance hull, twin rudders and a hard chine - all features designed by Humphreys Yacht Design to increase the yacht's performance and control. Combined with a semi-deck to increase interior volume, a luxury hand-crafted interior and a myriad of luxury equipment options, this is the quintessential luxury performance cruiser in the 40 to 45 foot range.
GT5 outdoor area
With the bathing platform, cockpit galley options including a fridge, grill and other amenities common to much larger yachts, the GT5's cockpit is designed to enjoy time with family and friends, offering ample seating space and various innovative cockpit table options transforming the seats into a sun lounge.
The sleek deck design ensures a quick and safe passage forward, and allows for a large sunbathing area with dedicated cushions on the foredeck.
Comfortable interior
The space below deck is unique in its class. Elan's design team has implemented an inverted saloon layout with the galley forward, ensuring optimum use of the yacht's volume for the most comfortable and innovative saloon in its size range. The forward galley offers ample storage space with a customisable corner that can be individually equipped for each owner.
The 180 degree panoramic skylight with window-in-window function, two hatches and a large central hatch allow the living room to be ventilated at all times. The new GT5 is also the only yacht of its size to offer a separate shower compartment with a 3 cabin, 2 bathroom interior layout.
